Help for ENROLL MENU: The "Enroll" menu creates a new
data record for a new member. This is the one and only data record for each individual
member. The "Profile" menu modifies this existing data record. A member may edit
their data record using the "Profile" menu as many times as they wish. Other than when
and why they are used, the two menus are identical.
Help for ON/OFF: If Minor's Minder is ON, then your
"Alert" and your "Reminder" entries will be honored. If Minor' Minder is OFF then
neither the "AQlert" nor the "Reminder" entries will be acted upon until the Minor's
Minder program is re-activated. This is the best way to temporarily disable
Minor's Minder when going on vacation for a few days or a few weeks.
Help for NAME: "Name" is your first and last name on a
single line separated by a space. The name may contain only alphabetical characters
or an apostrophe; e.g. a last name of O'Hare is acceptable. The entry may not
exceed 49 characters.
Help for PASSWORD: The "Password" should be easy for you
to type and to remember. It may contain only alphabetical and numerical characters.
Also, it must be at least three (3) characters long but not greater than twelve (12)
characters long.
Help for EMAIL: The "Email" can be any of your email
addresses that you will normally read daily.
Help for ZIP CODE: The "Zip Code" must be five (5)
numerical characters. It is used internally by the program to help identify you when
you make a typo in your name or password.
Help for TIME ZONE: Only the four (4) continental U.S.A.
time zones are permissible at the present time. Some time in the future, as the
membership grows, it is planned to make Minor's Minder global. The actual time
for a time zone will be either "standard" time or "daylight" time as nationally declared.
It is up to the member to make their own compensation if their area varies from
the national standard.
Help for ACCEPT CHANGES: In order to save your edits, one
must click the "Accept Changes" button. It is OK to leave the "Me" webpage by any other
method comfortable to you if you do not want to save your changes.
